What is it: The Quikstore Backend automatically stores customer and order details in a MySQL Database and allows the store owner to view invoices and various reports through a user friendly web based interface.

    • Mark products as In Stock, Sold Out or Hide from web site.
    • Category pages automatically created with thumbnail images and opening category paragraph.
      • X by X grid of thumbnails
      • Previous and next pages
    • Toolbar automatically created from categories placed in MySQL database
    • Optimize pages for search engines
      • Every product has its own .htm page driven from MySQL database
      • Every Product page has its own HTML Title and Meta Tags
      • Every Category page has its own HTML Title and Meta Tags

NEW Quikstore Gift Registry Module NEW

The module allows store owners to offer a robust, professional Gift Registry feature with their Quikstore shopping cart.

Customers can create a free Gift Registry account for weddings, birthdays, etc. Registry owner adds pertinent registry information to their account, including event information and adds desired products (including quantity) to their registry using a Quikstore shopping cart. They can return at any time to view the status of their registry and/or modify their registry.

Customers can search for an existing Gift Registry by last name or by state. Once selected, all registry products including their desired quantity's are displayed just alike a normal Quikstore shopping cart. Customers can choose to have the shipping address of the Registry Owner automatically filled in during the checkout process. Registry inventory is updated accordingly after checkout.

Module includes Admin Area for store owner to maintain registry accounts.

    Quikstore Gift Certificate Module

The module allows someone to order a Gift Card for any dollar amount. The Gift Card number is instantly included in the Order Receipt email. After the card is ordered, the purchaser is presented with a web page to Email the Gift Card to someone with a personalized message.

A Gift Card can be applied to any online order and any remaining balance stays on the card for a future order. Gift Cards are redeemed on the View Cart Page and the Order Total is instantly adjusted accordingly. If the final Order Total is zero, any credit card module is bypassed.

A Gift Card Admin area is included in case the store owner needs to adjust the Gift Card balance (e.g. if an item is returned)

Requirements: Quikstore, PERL Modules DBD::mysql and DBI, PHP and one MySQL database

The module goes in the Quikstore plug-ins directory. The module also requires quite a bit of modification to the existing Quikstore Shopping Cart files (quikstore.cgi, view_cart.html, receipt_page.html, Customer_email.html). If you are extremely familiar with perl and making modifications to the quikstore.cgi file you can probably install it yourself, but I highly recommend letting me install the module for you.
